[開発日誌]Google map embed tag generator
This blog entry is intended to show how to use ongmap.com’s “embed tool” with which you can generate an html tag for Google Map. This tool gives you an alternative and more flexible way to embet Google Map.
If you find any bugs/problems/browser imcompatibility, please let me know by dropping a comment on this blog or email to “yuki at ongmap dot com” .
1. Open “CREATE TAG FOR EMBED” menu

2. Click anyware on the map, and start moving your mouse. You’ll see a dotted rectangle. If you click again, a dotted lines become solid liens and tag for that rectangle area shows in the textarea on the left.

3. All you need to do is copy and paste the generated tag to your blog or whatever you like. It’s that easy! (See example below)

Note:
- Make sure you DO NOT “drag”(i.e. holding mouse button down and move the mouse simulataneously) your mouse when selecting the area. You need to “click”,”move”, and “click” again.
- Sometimes, at your second click, if your click is little bit to slow, Google Map thinks it was “dragged”, and it will cause the selected rectangle to disappear. In such case, you’ll need to select it again with a little bit “faster click”.
- When you finished, close the “CREATE TAG FOR EMBET” to disable area selecting mode.
